Save the Sunday Show!

Dec. 8, 2022

Update: It didn't even take a week before we had 10 acts, so the Sunday Show has been saved!

As it often happens, we have a lot fewer applications for our Sunday shows once again, especially for J-Popcon's Cosplayshow. As of now, there are only 5 signed up for JCS, while we have 9 for our craftsmanship competition, where there are 20 spots for acts and 30 spots for craftsmanship respectively.

J-Popcon's Cosplayshow will only continue if we have 10 acts signed up by Friday the 16th December – which is Friday next week. If this does not happen, J-Popcon's Cosplayshow 2023 will be the last of its kind and it will be cancelled from 2024 and beyond.  You do not need to have everything approved by this date, you only need to sign up for us to see that there is enough interest in the competition.

Since we want the Sunday Show to keep on going, we are giving you an extra week, so you have until the 23rd December to sign up (it is Christmas soon after all!). The deadline to have everything approved isn't until the 6th January, so there's still plenty of time. You can still apply for JCS after the 23rd December, this date only affects the show's future.

We really care about our Sunday Show and we don't want to be in a situation where it doesn't happen, so we really hope you want to sign up.
