Who are you?
My name is Sarah, but most people call me Shinji. I’m 22 years old and I have an education as a seamstress. I’m currently studying for a bachelor degree in textile communication at Handwork Promotion.
I’ve cosplayed for 8 years and I became Nordic champion at NCC in 2013, and won the price for best costume (together with my partner Alex) at World Cosplay Summit 2014.
Cosplay takes up a lot of my time, but I enjoy to play videogames and watch anime when I have some spare time. Theater is also a passion of mine.

What costumes will you bring to the convention?
I’ll bring a costume that I just finished for the EuroCosplay finals: Christine Daae in her Queen Elissa dress from the 25th anniversary of Phantom of the Opera. I probably won’t bring anything else, since I want to relax the other days and have the time to assemble the props.
What will you perform with? (have you changed anything compared to your qualification at J-Popcon?)
I’m gonna perform with Phantom of the Opera, so yeah, it’s a completely different performance! I’m very excited to see if everything goes well!
What do you expect from EC? (What do you hope to gain for the trip?)
I’m looking very much forward to meet all the lovely people from the other countries! I hope to see a bunch of beautiful ccostumes and to have a fun trip! And of course I hope that everything will go well on stage!
