A couple of years ago we created an additional cosplay show for Sunday, where the ambition level did not have to be quite as high as for the DCC on Saturday. There has, however, since we started only be a limited amount of act signed up each year, and it is on theis basis that we have decided to change the Sunday Show with the hope of giving everyone a better experience.
At DR Frit Spil a few weeks ago, we hosted a cosplay craft competition where we were completely overwhelmed by the participation interest. Therefore, we have decided to offer a similar competion at J-Popcon, which will be entirely focused on the artisanal aspect of cosplay.
There are two possible scenarios for the Sunday show/competition.
Scenario 1: Our Sunday Show as usual (with acts) followed by a craftmanship competition where there can be 30 participants. For this to be possible, there must no later that December 1st be a minimum of 10 groups/acts signed up for the Sunday Show. If we do not achieve 10 sign ups be the deadline, we move on to scenario 2 (NOTE, sing up does not mean that sound and script has to be ready. You just have to supply names, series and other information).
Scenario 2: We expand the craftmanship competition with 15 additional spots, meaning 45 in total (subject to the people signed up for the Sunday Show has first right to the spots if they want). This is the only cosplay show/competition on Sunday.
We hope that we in this way can satisfy most wishes and give people a more exciting Sunday Show.
