Which costumes will you bring to ECG?

Lillyn

-Mystique from X-Men Days of future past (human version)

-Daenerys Stormborn from Games of Thrones

-Kili from The Hobbit, An Unexpected Journey

Lupin

-Fili from The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey – just like the qualifications at J-Popcon. I've had to modify the costume quite a bit though, to get all the details right and correct some of the things I had to rush a bit before. So now I've had the time to correct the things that I felt the costume was lacking.

I'll bring two new costumes along Fili. One for the introductions day; Margaery Tyrell from HBO's Game of Thrones, a character that I choose mostly to match my sisters choice of character from the same show.

I've also quickly finished a semi-close cosplay of Quicksilver from X-Men: Days of Future Past. We had to make a few rough decisions of what to bring, since Fili and Kili takes up a lot of space and weight of our luggage allowance. So aside from them, we probably won't be the most flashy cosplayers, but that's just the way it is when you have to bring everything on a plane.

What are you going to perform with? (did you change anything compared to your qualification at J-Popcon?)

Lupin: We're going to participate with the same costumes, since we spend a lot of time and money to make them. Both of us are also in the middle of our educations, do making two new costumes of the same quality, seemed unrealistic. We've had to rewrite a lot of our act though, since it isn't possible for us to transport our big stage prop with wolf and door to Paris. We're of course sad about this, but we think that we've found a nice alternative, that we hope people at Japan Expo will enjoy just as much as the lovely danish crowd seemed to like our act at J-Popcon.

What do you expect of ECG? (what do you hope to gain from the trip?)

Lillyn: I hope to meet som passionate people from all over Europe that loves to create and entertain as much as my sister and I do. I can barely wait to see how the other groups performances are going to be and what they've come up with.

Lupin: I've been to the ECG before as a participant and I was lucky enough to go last year as team Denmark's backstage helper. So I already know a lot about who, what and how it all is going to take place. There is an unik and amazing atmosphere at ECG and it is organized in a way that I really like. They also have the most amazing cosplay stage where one's costume really gets the chance to shine. So I'm looking very much forward to an unforgetable experience and to give it my best together with my sister on this amazing stage and also meet old and new friends. ECG is an amazing place to create great friendships between the participants which is one of the reasons that the convention Japan Expo is a great meeting point every year for previous participants.
