Studio Ghibli's Whispers of the Heart (Mimi wo sumaseba, 1995) is released on Danish DVD February 13 and J-Popcon gives you the opportunity to win the movie on DVD with original Japanese voices and Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish subtitles.

Whisper of the Heart has been praised for the realistisc description of everyday life in Japan, and a very well-known Japanese company with special vehicles is seen throughout the movie. What is the name of this company, which has a specific animal from the movie in its logo?

Teenage girl Shizuku would rather daydream and read books, although her parents were more happy if she concentrated on her school like her talented older sister. At the library Shizuku discovers that a boy borrowed the exact same books as she. She meets boy, Seiji, who wants to be violin maker in Italy, like his grandfather. Their friendship will be crucial for Shizukus future.
The movie is based on a Japanese manga comic by Aoi Hiiragi and directed by Yoshifumi Kondo with screenplay by Hayao Miyazaki. It's a classic Studio Ghibli movie that contains all the elements which characterize the famous film company.
