Concerts with Seido Kaito

In collaboration with Seidokan Japan Center and the Japanese Embassy, J-popcon presents two concerts, with the Danish Taiko drum music group Seido Taiko, on Saturday d. March 19.

- 1st concert is Saturday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in DGI-byen, Forsamlingshuset (with limited space), so daytime visitors can experience Seido Taiko.

- 2nd concert held on Saturday evening in connection with the large cosplay show in Øksnehallen, where Seido Taiko play at 19:45 to 20:15.

Taiko is large Japanese drums, which are built by Japanese traditions. The drums are also called sport drums because of the extensive choreography which accompanies each piece of music.

Seido Taiko is Denmark's first and only Taiko drum group. They are taught by the mentor group Gogawadaiko from Japan, and play primarily their music.

The last few years, they have been privileged to be taught by the world famous Japanese taiko group, KODO.
