The purpose of the International Manga Award is to raise awareness of Manga and international cultural exchange through Manga. The award was established in 2007 and has been held annually ever since.
To participate, you must have created a Manga comic outside Japan in the period 2011 to 2014. Non published material is allowed. The material must be submitted in physical form only.

The winner among the submitted works from around the world , will be awarded the Gold Award, while the next three will receive Silver Awards. The prize winners are invited to Japan to attend the awards ceremony.
During the stay in Japan, the prize winners gets the opportunity to exchange ideas with Japanese manga artists and visit various publishers. The award ceremony will be held in Tokyo, January 2015.
