Sakura Festival 2014

April 4, 2014

Visit Langelinie Park in Copenhagen and celebrate the Japanese culture.

Hanami, which literally means “flower-view”, is an old Japanese tradition. When the Sakura (cherry blossoms) are in bloom, the Japanese people get together with their family, friends and lovers under the blooming trees, to enjoy their beauty.

Admission for Copenhagen Sakura Festival is a free, so please bring you parents, best friends, sister or brother to enjoy a lovely day under the cherry blossoms. Watch a tea ceremony, sing karaoke, learn how to play with Kendama or taste the Japanese variant of curry. On stage you can experience a kimono show, martial arts, music, dancing and more from the Japanese culture.

See you on the 26th to 27th of April at Langelinie!

Visit the Sakura Festival homepage for more information.
